Inside each Saturday

Forty pages of work. Fifteen to read.

We don’t bury the call. The verdict is on page one. The proof — entry zones, sector context, earnings quality, news pulse — is the next fourteen, structured so you can skim or dig as deep as you want.

Weekly macro lens

MPR, inflation, FX, Brent — read in a glance, with implications for NGX called out.

BUY / HOLD / AVOID calls

Decisive verdicts on every covered stock. Entry zones, targets, and the discipline to mark them open or closed.

Fundamentals deep-dive

P/E vs sector, ROE trends, margin direction, balance-sheet strength. Audit-trail math, plain-English summary.

Earnings-quality screens

Accruals, related-party flags, going-concern notes. Yellow lights before they go red.

News pulse

Last 14 days, only dated catalysts. Never training-data hallucinations.

Sector context

How the name reads against its sector — both the NGX comp set and the global parent industry.

Track record · live from the dashboard

We mark every call. Open or closed.

Every pick we publish is timestamped, entered into the public record, and tracked until it closes. Win or lose, on the page.

Broad Street speaks the same way whether you’re chasing the next dividend, holding for the cycle, or sending capital home from Toronto.

From the inbox

Notes from people who read it.

I used to spend two hours every Sunday trying to read NGX research from five different brokers and reconcile their calls. Now I read one PDF on Saturday and I know what I'm doing on Monday.

The first time Broad Street flagged AVOID on a stock I owned was painful. Two earnings later I was glad I sold. The track record made me trust the next call.

Tobi A.

What I keep telling people is — it's not the picks, it's the discipline. The entry zones stop me from chasing. The closed-pick log stops me from lying to myself.

Questions

The honest answers.

Is this investment advice?+

No. Broad Street publishes research, not advice. We don't know your situation, your tax exposure, or your risk tolerance. We mark the picks; you make the calls.

What if I lose money on a Broad Street pick?+

You'll lose money on some Broad Street picks. Every closed pick — winners and losers — sits in the public track record. We don't quietly delete the losers.

Why Saturday?+

NGX closes Friday. Saturday morning is when the week's data is final and you have time to read. The report lands before 9 AM Lagos time, every Saturday.

How is this different from Nigerian broker research?+

We're independent — we don't sell trades, manage money, or take issuer fees. We mark verdicts and timestamp them. Brokers do other things, often very well; we just do this one thing.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. One click in account settings, prorated to your billing date. No retention dance, no email funnel begging you to stay.

Do you cover ETFs or bonds?+

NGX equities and the 12 listed ETFs. Eurobonds and FGN bonds aren't in the v1 product. Coming if enough subscribers ask for them.
